A work at home job may be able to be done in your pajamas, but it does not mean that the job will not entail actual work, and it does not mean that you will get paid to do nothing. Become a Millionaire - 5 No-Nonsense Tips For Beginners

So you want to be a millionaire? Or even better, a multi-millionaire! Who wouldn't. Imagine what it would feel like to write that check to your credit card company completely paying off your balance. How about all other loan balances? What would it feel like to have zero debt, and a million dollars in the bank?

On the other hand, maybe you're someone who's doing okay financially with no debt, but as humans don't we have an inherent desire for more! Sometimes no matter how much we have, we're still not satisfied. Be honest, how often do you visualize yourself behind the wheel of that yellow "lambo"?

We all have a right to be rich. But it's not about wanting money for money's sake. What good does it do if we don't have our health for example. But being wealthy gives us options. Wallace Wattles said it best in his book, The Science of Getting Rich, and I quote, "Your right to life means your right to have the free and unrestricted use of all things which may be necessary to your fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment. In other words, you have a right to be rich....the desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life."

I couldn't have said it better myself! Being poor doesn't help anyone.

So, how do you get rich? What's it going to take to achieve your financial goals, your lifelong dreams and your ultimate time freedom? I present to you my no-nonsense list of what it's going to take to make it big. These may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised at how many people I have met over the years who truly want success, but seem to overlook these very basic concepts. So here we go:

1. Get Off Your Butt!

Excuse my directness, but sitting around watching television will probably never get you there. I can't tell you how many people I've met who want to be wealthy, but sit around waiting for something to fall out of the sky and save them. In my opinion, there is no such thing as an overnight millionaire. Getting rich requires effort, so unless you have a rich uncle who will be passing away soon, or you plan on winning the lottery next week, then know that it's going to take effort. Make yourself a commitment to spend a little less time on non-income-producing activities, and rather invest the time in yourself and your future.

2. Stop Being Skeptical

If you're skeptical, and not open to opportunities, just stop now and figure out a way to get over yourself. Of course, it's okay to be cautious, do your due diligence before you hand someone your hard-earned money, but it all begins with being open to receive the opportunities that are presented to you. There are so many work from home businesses and other opportunities out there but don't write them all off as scams. It could be the one you thought was too good to be true that could have made you a millionaire! As Edwin Hubbel Chapin once said, "Skepticism has never founded empires, established principals, or changed the world's heart. The great doers in history have always been people of faith."

3. Stop Working For A Boss

Most people will never get rich working for someone else. I hate to use sweeping statements, so I say most people. There are always exceptions to the rules. But typically, you can't get rich working for a boss. You see, when you're doing that, you're being leveraged. Who typically makes more money, the owner of the company or the employee? Even when your boss is on the golf course he or she is still making money, but you have to work for every dollar you earn. Don't you want more control over your time and the money you make? Of course you do. And if you don't, then perhaps free enterprise isn't for you.

Now, I'm not saying you should walk into your boss's office today and quit, but at least start looking for something else you can do on a part time basis. It's time to start looking out for yourself and your family and stop building someone else's dream.

4. Stop Making Excuses

We're all guilty of this. We make excuses all the time for why we can't do something. Unless you're willing to get real with yourself and stop making excuses, you'll never get to where you want to go. You have to learn how to eliminate, or at least reduce to a minimum the constant self-talk you hear in your head all day long. That little voice that directs you throughout the day. And if you're thinking, "What voice?" well, it's that one you just heard! In my own business I have spoken to hundreds of people over the years who wanted to get rich, but weren't even willing to spend an hour with me to consult with them on a plan of action. I would get all kinds of excuses. You see, most people aren't willing to participate in their own rescue! It sounds crazy, but it's a reality. If you are constantly making up excuses, get to the root cause of why you're doing that because if you keep it up, you will most likely never achieve success.

5. Never Give Up!

So, what great article would be complete without a dumb, rhetorical question? So here's mine: What multi-millionaire ever got wealthy by quitting along the way? If you're going down this road, begin with the attitude that you will never quit no matter what. I can tell you, there will be challenges along the way, anyone who tells you it's going to be easy, or you'll make "quick-money" is probably handing you a line. I don't know a single millionaire who didn't fail multiple times along the way, but what separated them from everyone else who tried and failed is that they were not willing to quit. As Winston Churchill said, "Never, never, never quit!"

If you follow these very basic guidelines, your chances of achieving success will increase exponentially. Now go out there and create massive results for you and your family. The time for excuses is over.
